PIANO and STRINGS
Rebecca is a Louisville native with a deep love for all things music. Starting on piano, she was classically trained beginning at age six and continued her classical education through college. Her journey with the arts has taken her throughout all genres, including jazz, Irish traditional, classical, contemporary, hymns, and folk music. She now works as a Piano Technician and teaches piano at her Alma Mater, Bellarmine University, where she graduated with degrees in Business Administration and Economics. She currently serves on the Greater Louisville Music Teachers’ Association board, an organization she’s volunteered with for the past three years. She has enjoyed branching into new instruments including concertina, banjo-ukulele, Celtic harp, and dulcimer. Her spare time is spent with her family, dog (Skittles) and two cats (Pez and Pato). If you’ve read this far and you’re looking for a good conversation starter with her, give her your best trail recommendations as she loves hiking.
